At present, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory do not have legislation permitting specialist conveyancers from operating autonomously. The Australian Institute of Conveyancers is pursuing discussions with the Queensland Government on this matter.

The work of that committee will be to facilitate the introduction of electronic conveyancing within Australia.
